Carole Petner, MA, BCBA, LBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Carole is a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with tons of experience in data interpretation, creating engaging visuals, and working closely with teens and adults. She’s passionate about making sure every part of an intervention—from setting goals to choosing the right approach—is socially significant and valuable to her clients and their families.
Carole’s initial interest in Applied Behavior Analysis was sparked by her fascination of how people learn and the science behind it. She joined our team in 2016 and enjoys the community-focused events we host at Personalized Therapy, LLC. Currently, Carole’s primary focus is providing parent education and training. The most meaningful and rewarding part of her work is hearing parents share the positive changes they are seeing and building strong, trusting relationships with the families she works with.
Carole studied Psychology at Pennsylvania State University and went on to earn her master’s in professional Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology. She started out in the field as a Registered Behavior Technician and developed her career, transitioning to a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst. She’s been actively involved in the ABA world since 2016.
Carole has a variety of personal interests, including drawing, playing video games, reading, and strength training.
