Bri Wathen, MS, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Brianna “Bri” Wathen is a Speech Language Pathologist holding her Certificate of Clinical Competency. She works primarily with pediatric patients and loves exploring creative ways to support communication through Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Bri is passionate about helping children build language skills with a special interest in supporting articulation and phonological challenges. With a background as a Registered Behavior Technician, Bri strives to empower children with a range of developmental conditions, including autism spectrum disorder.
Bri joined our team in 2015, drawn to the supportive, collaborative approach within our practice. She appreciates the multidisciplinary approach at Personalized Therapy, LLC that helps ensure each client gets well-rounded care. Bri’s primary focus is in pediatrics and teaching the application of AAC. For her, the most rewarding part of the job is seeing her clients reach new milestones, grow in confidence, and connect more easily with the people around them.
Bri’ earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech-Language and Communication Disorders and a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology, both from Nova Southeastern University. Along the way, she’s worked as a Registered Behavior Technician and a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant, which eventually led her to her current role as an SLP.
Outside of work, Bri enjoys trying new hobbies and activities. You might catch her soaking up the sun at the beach, practicing her juggling skills, or showing off her Rubik’s cube skills, completing one in under two minutes. Fun fact: Bri is the proud guardian of Tili, one of our clinic therapy dogs!
