Kamryn Ring – “Kam,” MA, BCBA, LBA
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Kam is a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) who brings thoughtfulness, energy, and a love for learning to our team. She specializes in working with school-aged clients and believes that building strong, trusting relationships is the foundation of meaningful progress. Kam is known for creating engaging, individualized learning experiences that make therapy both fun and impactful.
Kam joined Personalized Therapy in 2022 after hands-on experience as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and substitute teacher in special education classrooms. Inspired by her late father, a behavior specialist, and years of volunteering at the Special Olympics, Kam knew from a young age that she wanted to support individuals with special needs. Her passion is rooted in connection—making kids feel seen, supported, and successful. Her favorite thing about Personalized Therapy is the ability to reach clients where they need the most support, whether that’s in the school, home, or community setting.
Kam earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and went on to receive her Master’s in Special Education with a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University. She’s proud of her journey to becoming a BCBA and looks forward to continuing her professional growth through future certifications and learning opportunities.
For Kam, the best part of the job is seeing the progress her clients make—from the small wins to the big breakthroughs. She loves looking back on where a child started and celebrating just how far they’ve come.
Outside of work, Kam enjoys running, hitting the gym, and getting lost in a good book. She and her husband are also on a mission to visit every NFL stadium by attending a Washington Commanders game in each one—a tradition that combines their love of football and travel.
