Rebecca “Becca” McKenna, SLPA

Rebecca “Becca” McKenna, a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, brings a specialized focus in telehealth services and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Her approach centers on building strong, genuine connections with her clients, believing this is the key to making real progress and creating meaningful change.

Becca joined our team in 2023, motivated by a strong passion to help everyone find their voice and express what matters most to them. She really values the supportive mentorship that Personalized Therapy, LLC offers to its clinicians. Her main focus areas are telehealth and AAC. For Becca, the most rewarding part of her work is witnessing clients spontaneously express themselves or take pride in their achievements.

Becca took professional studies courses for Speech-Language Pathology Assistants from Longwood University and received her Bachelor’s in Communication Disorders from Brigham Young University. Before stepping into her current role, she also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, which really strengthened her skills—especially when it comes to supporting individuals on the autism spectrum. She’s been actively involved in both the speech-language and ABA fields since 2023 and brings a well-rounded, thoughtful approach to her work.

Outside of work, Becca enjoys exploring a variety of interests, including reading both fiction and non-fiction, mountain biking, enjoying the outdoors, attending community performances and events, and supporting small businesses.
